APPNA held its first NHCD (National
Health Care Day) across USA on Saturday 5th June 2010
APPNA held its first National Health
Care Day (NCHD) in 40 separate sites across USA and served an estimated 3000
patients. Almost all
medical specialties as well as other health professionals and community
volunteers volunteered, some in mosques, some in private clinics
while others in community centers, Red Cross shelters and soup kitchens.
This event demonstrated once again
APPNA's ability to mobilize its members in humanitarian missions either in USA
or abroad. In the past
APPNA has participated in relief activities in Haiti 2010, Pakistan Earthquake
Oct. 2005, South Asian Tsunami of 2004, Katrina Hurricane New Orleans
2005 and numerous other relief efforts too many to be named here.
This is an attempt to present a visual history of the longest day of APPNA on

The event was held throughout the USA where volunteers from APPNA's membership conducted free health screening clinics
The center have been located in States of AZ, AR, AL, IL, CA, IA, MI, OH, TX, NJ, MO, FL, NH, LA and Washington DC. More centers are being documented.
