APPNA members known for their quick response to disasters can take pride yet another achievement. Their donations
made possible the use of this pick up van to take volunteers and supplies to areas of need.

The Social Welfare and Disaster Relief Committee (SWDRC) 2011 decided upon hearing the difficulties faced by the volunteers on the ground
decided that we had willing volunteers who were sometimes on duty all day and all night. Many were sleeping on where ever facilities
could be found. Transport of relief supplies  in an all terrain vehicle was the need of the hour.  In consultation with the Alabama Chapter
of APPNA The SWDRC 2011 made the decision to support the relief efforts in a tangible way.
