Michigan Chapter of APPNA held its 2007 fall meeting at Mariott Hotel, Pontiac, MI

The meeting was well attended and tables had to be added to accomodate additional attendees.  As has been the tradition, family members were prominent and were largely responsible for its success.
The outgoing officers related the state of the Chapter which has seen its membership grow and include members outside metropolitan Detroit areas. The financial state is sound and well poised to continue
ongoing functions. The meeting began with a continuing medical education lecture on treatment of deep vein thrombosis and emboli. The national anthems of USA and Pakistan were sung by the children.
The entertainment was provided by Alamgir who began the performance with one minute of silent prayer for Pakistan. There were no nominations from the floor for the new office bearers and those on the slate were elected unopposed. Dr. Naeem President and Dr. Sarosh Secretary/Treasurer.
